Job summary:
Nursing Aide is responsible for hospital maintenance and provide
assistance to patients. They are under the supervision of nursing and
medical tasks. They often provide the cleanliness and orderliness in
the clinics and hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Prepare and change beddings, towels, pillows that will be used by
patients.
o Deliver messages from the doctors to the patients or vice versa.
o Assist patients with their demands and needs.
o Bathe and dress patients
o Prepare the meal of the patients; feed them if necessary.
o Collect used utensils such as plates; also collect used medicine
bottles, needles, gloves to dispatch.
o Prepare the dose of the patients.
o Clean hospital rooms; disinfect to avoid contaminations.
o Takes and records patient's temperature, blood pressures and
respiration rates.
o Do hospital errands.
o Follow tasks assigned by chief nurse or doctors.

In the dental office, the dentist and the dental hygienist work
together to meet the oral health needs of patients. Dental hygienists help
to prevent dental decay by cleaning patients' teeth and providing them with
education about how to care effectively for their teeth and gums, and the
effects of diet on oral health.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Reviewing medical/dental history, and recording current blood pressure
o Assessing the periodontal status of every patient, check if there's
bleeding, inflammation, pain, bone loss, that will all affect the way
the treatment is performed.
o Educating patients on oral hygiene
o Developing care plans for maintaining good dental hygiene
o Administering local anesthetic
o Removing stains and plaque
o Sterilization of instruments, taking impressions, and setting recall
appointments are also performed

provided, needed, billed to insurance, or charged to patient directly.
