Built and started three toner cartridge manufacturing plants in Mexico and managed an EMS Sanmina plant

Improvement thru lean and six sigma with internal certifications for Green and Black Belt.
Achievements
Lead Lean transformation and turnaround of Mexico’s operation and increased 5%-10% production
flexibility and capacity. Implemented next generation engineering ink-fill and Microprocessor chip tab
attach equipment. Led operational excellence for Lean and Six Sigma 5S, VF, EP, SMED, SW, TPM,
Kan Ban, Kaizen events, Suggestion box, VSM, ABC Cycle counts, Six Sigma green and black belt

Ink Cartridges – Developed a capital intense $120 MM manufacturing plant, 250,000 Sq. Ft. high tech
semiconductor automated processes and labor intense, high volume and high mix, One million ink
cartridges production rate per week, 1,200 HC, Y/Y cost and quality improvement positioning
Achievements
Built, staffed, and qualified site’s class 10,000 clean room and floor operations plan. Qualified
production from circuit assembly class 1,000 clean room plant. Output increased 83% thru new and
improved equipment and process flows. Improved 1:3 faster automated equipment increased ink fill
processes and chip attachment from 600K ink cartridges per week to 1 million. Product transferred
and NPI’s resulted in 50% cost reduction. Inbound and outbound logistics routes were established.
Third party logistics warehouse in El Paso, TX was contracted. Developed one Master Six Sigma
Black Belt, five black belts, and 85 green belts. Established Traffic and Customs office, Purchasing and
