Vendor developed for S355JO+N forged flanges from Korea. Cost saving is 1.6 Million per Tower. The 9 flanges

are being welded in 4 sections of Tower.

Developed 83 Meter tubular tower for 1.5 MW Wind Turbine – Procurement of 148 MT of Steel Plates per Tower,

Forged Flanges, Internals, Aluminium Ladders and High Grade Fasteners. Well versed with tower fabrication and

painting process.

Achieved 40% cost reduction by localization of two post lift (Garage equipment).

In the 4x360 MW coal based thermal power plant Engineering, Procurement, placing Letter of Intent and

awarded contract for BTG accessories & BOP components like rotating equipments of Pump, Coupling,

Compressor, Cranes and Hoists and static equipments like Ash, Slurry and Mill Rejection System, Water

Treatment Plant, Effluent system, Water intake system, Valves, Fuel oil system, Hydrogen Tanks and HVAC.

Procurement of construction materials like TMT bars, Steel, Cement, Adhesive, Curing Agents, Construction

equipment like Batching plant, Storage silos, Spare parts for Heavy vehicles and consumables for erection of

Boiler, Turbine, Generator and Balance of Plant items .

In the 4 x 360 MW Thermal Power Plant Project during the 1 st phase of 1 x 360 MW have made Planning,

Scheduling, Sequencing of different Phases, WBS and Activities for entire project including Civil construction.

Revenue of 0.3 billion from Carbon Emission Reduction through Clean Development Mechanism project for 25

MW Biomass power plant.

Technical co ordinator between NEPC, India and Micon, Denmark for successful launching of 400kW Wind

Turbine in India.

R.K.M Powergen Private Limited is a joint venture company registered in the year 2000 in Chennai.It is promoted by

R.K Powergen Pvt. Ltd and Mudajaya Corporation Berhad, Malaysia. The Company is setting up a 4 X 360 MW coal

based Thermal Power Plant Project in Chhattisgarh. The project cost is Rs.7000 Crore.

Procurement:

Engineering and Procurement of items for Civil, Mechanical, Chemical (WTP plant) and I&C with detailed

commercial contracts, purchase order and work order for BOP items, BTG accessories, Steel, Cement and

Construction equipments etc.

Understanding of the technical aspects of the materials requirement and evaluation of the quotation.

Thorough knowledge of various commercial conditions forming part of the supplies and fabrication/erection

contracts of the project.
