Title Multi Family Affordable Solar Housing - Virtual Net
Metering (MASH)
Work Location Bhubaneswar, India
Client SCE (Southern California Edison)
Platform Mainframe zOS
Duration Sep '10 - Aug '11
Software COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, Power Builder 10.0, VB
Hardware Windows XP Desktop and Windows NT Server
Description The Multifamily Affordable Solar Housing - Virtual Net
Metering (MASH-VNM) is California Solar Initiative
where in a network is defined as the collection of
accounts consisting of the single NGO and the
associated benefitting accounts.
The changes will allow VNM credits from one or more
qualifying systems to be shared throughout an entire
affordable housing property, as long as the property is
entirely on land comprised of contiguous parcels and is
under common ownership.
In most MASH residential complexes there are multiple
residential buildings on a single property. These
housing complexes are serviced by multiple electric
utility service delivery points (SDPs). Typically each
building has its own service delivery point that
services the multiple tenants in that building, which
can be seen as a single meter panel housing all of the
meters for that building. Therefore, in order for a
complex to become a MASH-VNM property, the owner had to
construct separate and distinct solar energy systems on
each building in the complex.
My Role As one of the offshore Team lead for a team of 8
