facilities ranging from 40k to 110k square feet. Spearheaded the opening of four facilit ies over the course
of four years, three of which were completed in 2008. Held responsibili ty for site/building selection,
l ighting revamp, racking design/purchase, pick pattern, employee selection, and oversight of facility once
operational.
• Increased warehouse efficiency 30% in largest facility through operating system modifications (SAP),
r acking reset, and redesigned pick path.

shipping” within the six distribution centers.

• Created “Best Practices” team within the region. Utilized the strength of well run operations to
i ncrease efficiency/reduce costs in lesser performing branches. Examined sales/labor expense, slow
moving inventory, overall DC operation, Fleet costs as compared to average, wage in regard to market,
i nventory shrink, and turnover.
• Best Practices program resulted in SE Region moving to 2 nd most profitable up from 4th of 5 total
regions.
