Title: DYNAMIC DC-BUS VOLTAGE CONTROL STRATEGIES FOR 3-PHASE SHUNT ACTIVE

POWER FILTER.

Description:

Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) have been prove to be an effective

approach to eliminate harmonic current in power grids. The DC-voltage

control during dynamic processes is critical for the safe performance of

the SAPF. In this project, soft start up and impact suppression techniques

are proposed to ensure no voltage overshoots or sags in DC bus during start

up and other dynamic processes. With good compensation effects, the

proposed voltage controller has improved dynamic performances greatly and

compared with traditional PI Controller. Simulation and experimental

results demonstrate that these techniques has given the DC voltage rising

smoothly to the expected value and the fast PI controller has obtained

better dynamic performances compared with traditional PI controllers.

Title: TRANSISTOR INTERCOM CIRCUIT

Description:

It is a simple but effective intercom circuit that is based fully on

transistors. The circuit is based on a 3-stage RC coupled amplifier. When

the push button S2 is pushed the amplifier circuit wired around T1 & T2

becomes an astable multivibrator and starts producing the ringing signals.

These ringing signals will be amplified by the transistor T3 to drive the

speaker. When the push button S2 is released the circuit will behave as an

ordinary amplifier.
