JUN.2012 to present: Volta Belting Technology, Power Transmission Sales
Manager. Reactivating markets for a V-belt making system, franchised by an
Israel-based international food-conveyor belt producer. Responsible
for v-belts, components and system machines business world-wide.
JUN.1994 to 2011: PETROMETAL, Owner-Operator. Houston-based supplier of
forgings,
barstock, components and plant equipment for South American manufacturers
of Wellhead and Refinery equipment. Fully-integrated technical sales and
freight, trading US$ 75k to 600k/month.
JAN.1992 to MAY.1994: Ellwood Texas Forge, Product Development Developed
forward extruded seamless pipes, including dies and processes, for 11,000
ton press. First large titanium forging (Tomahawk casing), 2-in-1 breech-
block multiple, etc. Started exports to South America.
JAN.1988 to DEC.1990: Plant Manager - Forjas de Santa Clara, 1500 ton/mo.
closed-die forge.
Lead restructuring and renewal of 12 year-old hammer operation to quintuple
production and sales within two years at Venezuela's largest forging
company, during an export replacement era.
JUN.1981 to DEC.1987: Cameron Iron Works (now PCC/Wyman-Gordon) Houston, Texas.
Closed-die Forging Engineer, Titanium and Nickel-based aircraft turbine
disks on 23000 ton press. Extrusion engineer for shaped extrusions and
heavy-wall pipe. Development and testing: Forging lubricants, Aluminum
extrusion, Discalloy and Cu-Ni hollows,"hot-dies", closed-die "flash"
rings.
