Project Title:”Transient stability analysis using equal area criterion using simulink

model”.

Clients: JITM, CUTM, SCHOOL OF ENGG. & TECHNOLOGY (SOET),

PARLAKHEMUNDI.

Functionality of project: Stabilization of the electric power system network throughout the

day by using EAC metho d and a MATLAB simulation has been carried out to demonstrate

the performance of the 3-machine 9-bus system.

Technique and Software used: MATLAB, Simulation, pspice, Programming

etc.

Project team size: 5 members

Duration of the project: 1 year

Responsibilities in the project: OMIB Demonstration, mechanical analogy related to the

system and mathematical modeling.

I have successfully completed a mini project on WORKSHOP ELECTRICAL and

MSP at IREL.

Industrial training taken during 11/05/2012 to 10/06/2012 from INDIAN RARE

EARTH LIMITED (OSCOM), chattrapur, Odisha.

I trained there for some of maintenance work of different motors, transformers and

quite familiar to protection schemes over there.

Observed the material separation by automatic control system method and a member

of electrical workshop that those days.

Undergone a study tour to the upper kolab hydel power plant (OHPC) and gained a lot

of practical ideas.

Area of interest:

I am really interested to work in core field where I can gain new techniques.

I am also interested in work over power system utilization and maintenance by using

advanced technique like PLC and SCADA.

Achievements:

I got 1st prize in Block level Essay competition in school days which were conducted

by Odisha Secondary School Teachers Association (OSSTA).

I achieved a successful project on hazardous waste management in municipal area at

intermediate days.

Extracurricular activities:

I have participated in Robotics workshop conducted by Think LABS (TRI), SINE

IIT Bombay from 22nd -24th October, 2010.

Participated at AIDS awareness programme.

Participated in Extra Curricular Activities like Quiz Competition, Personality

Development and Entrepreneurship Development workshops.

Being an initiator of GRAM-TECH event convinced the village people for advanced

technology.
