Project Title : ENHANCEMENT IN EXISTING MODULE FOR

AUDIT SECURITY MONITORING SYSTEM.

Description : Web application security is a branch of

Information Security that deals specifically with security of websites, web

applications and web services. Developers in the development phase,

develops the application, as per the user requirement. In the development

phase, user normally forgets to implement the application security measures

in development.

This practice of developer mostly leaves loop-holes for sniffers to attack

the websites and gain access to sensitive information's from the system. To

avoid such loop-holes, it is mandatory for developer to get it security

audited from the professional auditors.

Keeping this in mind, NIC (National Informatics Centre) developed an

application through which developer can log request for getting his

application audited and can view status of the status of his application in

the through process of auditing. Any communications related to

findings/vulnerability fixing and issuance of clearance certificate is

managed through this application.
