Thank you for taking the time to review my qualifications and considering
me for an opportunity to provide your team with over fifteen years of
experience in safety, business, and customer service.
I started my career in safety working at Techneglas in Columbus, Ohio.
Techneglas manufactured glass funnels for use in CRTs. I completed my
internship at that facility and I was asked to stay on for a prolonged
period of time since the company was undergoing additional construction and
expansion. I performed various audits, updated and trained employees on
programs such as forklift licensing, emergency action plans, basic IH and
PPE. I completed lead monitoring on a quarterly basis as well as
asbestos, oil mist and noise level monitoring. I also worked closely
completing safety training and audits as needed with contractors.
I then followed that with my employment at United Steering systems in
Grabill, Indiana until that plant closed and have technical experience in
creating and implementing various safety training programs such as forklift
training, hazard communication, emergency response teams, and also have
hands on industrial hygiene experience. I have firsthand experience with
IOSHA inspections and the follow up paperwork and procedures.
After United Steering Systems closed, I ran two franchises of Thin &
Healthy weight management, and was a customer service and sales associate
at Kohl's and Vera Bradley Designs. From this I gained valuable experience
in management, human resources, time management, and communication. In
2012 I returned to a career in safety full time at Advanced Assembly where
I was head of the Ergonomic/Safety Committee, lead accident investigations,
managed worker compensation cases, and developed and implemented various
training and safety metric tracking programs within our facility
At AxleTech, I continued my experience in accident investigations, workers
comp, and training, as well as ISO14001 & 18001 recertification
preparation, energy use reduction initiatives, scrap elimination, first aid
cost reduction, ergonomic evaluations, updating emergency action plans, and
developing programs to increase safety awareness. Year to date, these
initiatives have resulted in a 57% reduction in recordable incidents and a
50% reduction in lost time incidents.
This combination of technical ability and interpersonal skills will allow
me to successfully drive the implementation of a world class safety program
at your facility. I look forward to meeting with you and the members of
your team to discuss how my talents fit within your organization.
Sincerely,
Stacey R Brady
