I am a native of Central Kentucky and a graduate of Garrard Co. High School. I attended Eastern Kentucky University for 2 years. I have also completed training courses and earned certification in both Commercial Driving and Nursing Assistance.

1986-1988 Forklift Operator
I operated a forklift and unloaded large storage boxes and material from delivery trucks to designated areas of a warehouse facility.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing USA:
1988-1997 Assembly/Inspection Team Member
I worked on the plant assembly line full time. My job duties included alternating 4 different assembly/inspection sequences with 40-60 steps each according to production needs, coordinating procedures with other s, skillfully using the Japanese Quality Control Program on a daily basis, adhering to all safety regulations, and skillfully communicating in both oral and written form.
1997-2001 Quality Control Inspection Team Leader
I was promoted to Team Leader and worked on several Pilot Projects. My duties included training others on position sequences, analyzing sequences for streamlining and improvement, evaluating production performance, troubleshooting QC performance problems, and presenting new improvement ideas for integration.
During my employment I was recognized for outstanding performance several times and given awards for process improvement and perfect attendance.
Flavorich Dairy:
2002-2007 CDL Driver
I worked with a large school system, coordinating and carrying out the delivery of dairy products to the schools. My job duties included using excellent communication skills to coordinate inventory with area kitchen managers, ordering large quantities of products from the regional supplier for delivery, physically delivering products in a timely manner each day, inspecting and performing maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, and adhering to all DOT, FDA, and OSHA safety regulations.
During my employment I was recognized for outstanding performance and was a top earner for my facility.
Tanbark Healthcare/Richmond Place/UK Hospital:
2007-2009 Patient Care Technician
Having earned my State Certification (SRNA), I worked at these facilities in tandem caring for patients and training for new skills. My job duties included all aspects of patient care that require composure, strength, excellent communication, technical and medical skill, compassion, and dedication.
I was recognized as an excellent employee by all three facilities where I trained and worked. I received letters of thanks from patients and their families. At Tanbark I was named Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year .
Kentucky Blood Center:
2010-present CDL Driver/Phlebotomist-Bloodmobile
Now having earned both my CDL and SRNA I am now qualified to operate a Bloodmobile. My job duties include preparing the vehicle for blood drives, conducting vehicle safety checks and performing maintenance procedures, planning destination routes, safely transporting people and blood products to and from locations, screening donors with excellent communication skills, evaluating donor eligibility, adhering to all FDA and GMP regulations and policies, and performing all Quality Control procedures on a daily basis.
I have had perfect attendance since beginning work at KBC over a year ago.
