Analyzed, developed and tested projects that improved the Health Care

eligibility, enrollment and

billing systems for the customer.

Member - Wellmark Health Care Modernization Team (conversion from

RTMS/PACBASE to JAVA)

2011

- 2012

. Developed COBOL programs and JCL to run in several new testing regions

that made it possible to successfully test the new JAVA code.

. Created documentation on how to run the new cycles for the cycle teams

to use when running the cycles.

. Acted as Cycle Lead for the HMO Capitation batch cycle to provide

support during the cycle run and to compare new cycle outputs against

the current cycle outputs to ensure they were in sync.

. Tech Lead to analyze existing Pacbase/COBOL programs and JCL in order

to find the best method to convert them to JAVA.

. Created Use cases for the developers to use in the development of the

JAVA code.

. Created a new process consisting of new COBOL programs and JCL to sync

up the current IMS Provider database with the new DB2 Provider

database. This enabled the two databases to stay in sync during the

conversion from RTMS to JAVA.

Member - HPS Security (Health Payer System) Implementation Team

2010 - 2011

. Researched Security standards such as NIST, HIPAA, etc. and gave

presentations to the team in order for the team to understand the

information security issues that faced companies. This provided the

team with the information needed to be able to incorporate the needed

security measures in the new system.

. Created an internal WIKI Security Standards website to provide access

to security information the team needed to complete projects.

. Analyzed and set up new implementation processes for HPS to be used to

create the new system.

Member - Federated Health Care Integration Team for MetaVance

Implementation 2009 - 2010

. Consulted with the customer to create High Level Designs that were

used to create the Detailed Designs.

. Created Detailed Designs and mapping documents that were used to

develop the code and jobs for the new implementation process.

. Reviewed code completed by Best Shore to assure that coding standards

and requirements were followed. Tested the code and worked with them

to make any changes that were needed in order to produce the correct

outputs.

. Implemented changes requested by the customers following their review

that ensured requirements and expectations were met.

2004 - 2009

. Tech Lead for the Membership Integration team to provide leadership

and expertise in the development of the membership interfaces needed

for MetaVance Implementation.

. Tech Lead for the Vendor Feeds Integration team to provide leadership

and expertise in the development of the Vendor feeds interfaces needed

for MetaVance Implementation.

. Researched and analyzed the existing system, participated in customer

requirements sessions, created the High Level Design Specification,

Detailed Design Specification and mapping documents that were used to

complete the development of the project.

. Developed code and JCL for the MetaVance Membership Conversion that

was used to convert membership data from the current system to the

MetaVance system.

. Tech Lead for the Group and Member Pricing Management data loads -

developed code and JCL in order to run the data loads from the current

system to the MetaVance system. Collaborated with the customer to

find problems with incorrect or missing data if the load was

unsuccessful and implemented maintenance and enhancements to correct

any problems that were found.

. Analyzed, developed and tested group and membership enrollment

enhancements that improved the customer's current process.

(Federal Employee Plan), HCFA (Health Care Financing Administration)

. Wrote documentation of program developments to provide guidance for

future developments and to ensure that the customer would be able to

use the new process efficiently.

. Provided production support for the customer's mainframe batch cycle

to resolve issues and ensure that the cycle jobs completed

successfully and on time.
