Mahindra Engineering Ltd.

. Worked in Boeing-787 project outsourced by Spirit Aero Systems, a

Tier 1 company for Boeing.

. Performed stress analysis of airframe structures and systems for

Boeing 747-8 airplane.

. Performed complex hand calculations on structures to validate the

FEA results.

. Updated and modified Engineering Drawings using Solid Works.

. Performed the allowable damage limit calculations on structural

components like frames, shear ties, beams, seat tracks floor beams

and other secondary structures using some of the Boeing's in-house

tools.

handling engineering changes requested and suggesting better ideas

of the change requested.

. Performing the Duties of a cross - functional team member by

coordinating with the Boeing's Design Engineering team, and the

manufacturing team.

CAE/CFD engineer Jan

'2009 - Feb '2010

Altran Technologies India pvt ltd.

. FE Model building and assembly preparation using Ansa 13.1.3.

. Performed necessary checks to ensure error free model.

. Quality criteria maintained as per client requirements.

Internship

Jun '2008 - Dec '2008

National Thermal Power Corporation

. Monitored and prepared a report, on the condenser and its

performance.

. Participated in performance calculations and reviewed mechanical

drawings.

. Gained practical knowledge on different types of dryers (cone, tray,

and batch and tower dryers), boilers, centrifuges, valves, mixers

and ultra-filtration process.

GRADUATE THESIS

Aug '2012 - May '2013

Topology Optimization of Compliant Mechanisms without Uncertainty

. Designed a new discretization model for optimizing the topologies

of compliant mechanisms by introducing the genus based topology

optimization strategy.

. With this strategy, the genus of an optimized compliant mechanism

is actively controlled during its topology optimization process.

. The Initial design domain was discretized into finite elements

using MATLAB Code.

. Material, Boundary and Load Conditions were assigned to the model

using MATLAB Library.

. Genetic Algorithm based optimization, using MATLAB Optimization

toolbox, is used for Topology Optimization of the Design Domain.

. The Finite Element Analysis of the optimized Topology was done

using MATLAB and the results are validated against those obtained

from NASTRAN.
