o Providing Technical support for installation and commissioning

of 11KV overhead line incoming structure (approval of local

electrical authority), VCB, Transformers and PCC .Execution of

underground cable laying. Testing and commissioning of

Transformer at site. Approved GA/Control circuit and Power

circuit drawing for MCC (motor control center) before

fabrication. Equipment selection according to process

requirement.

o Generated testing procedure/check sheets for transformer/PCC/and

VCB commissioning. Designed plant lighting as per standard and

executed in given time frame.

Dy.Manager, Plant maintenance (Electrical)

Poly Ethylene(PE)/Power Plant Utility and Offsite(PPUO) (GE frame -6)

05/2006 to 10/2012,

o Managed, motivated and guided PE, PPU&O Plant employees. Joined

as Sr. engineer Electrical promoted to Dy.Manager in 04/2009.

Following jobs were executed during the tenure.

o Re-commissioned the whole Plant as the plant was under shutdown

from 10 years.

o Re-commissioning of Merlin Gerin switchgear (HV & LV), HV & LV

Motors, Hot oil system of Extruder and barrel heater in PE/PPUO

plant.

o Re-Commissioning of transformer and filtration were carried out

for PPUO and PE plant.

o FUJI make 33 KV SF6 breakers, Mitsubishi make 3.3KV VCB

overhauling and testing were carried out.

o All above jobs carried out in 2 months' time frame and started-

up PE Plant at 12 MT/Hour rate with one Train. The capacity of

plant is of 40 MT/Hour with both trains.

o HARLAND&SIMONS AC & DC variable speed drives testing done, re-

commissioned successfully and achieved 40 MT/Hour Poly ethylene

productions by starting another train.

o For better reliability of plant following projects completed in

time and within decided budget.

o SEIMENS (4000Amp DC Drive) drives Installation and commissioned

successfully for redundancy of extruder between two trains.

o Lightning protection is implemented and installed throughout the

complex to avoid power failure and electronics component failure

due to thundering with LPI Australia.

o Installation and commissioning of 80KVA Gutor UPS, LV/MV and HV

panel retro-fitting extension (Schneider Electric Ltd

(3.3&11KV), FUJI (33KV))carried out.

o Commissioned new Q-series Rotrok MOVs (Motor operated valve)

instead of old obsolete MOV.

o 3 annual s/d carried out during the tenure of IEPCL (NNPC).

o Frame-6 GE make Generator MI&O/h (replacement of journal

bearing) and testing(PI, tan delta, RSO, Elcid ).

o Motor testing with CSA(current signature analysis)

o Motor winding testing with surge tester.

o Straight joint and end termination of 33KV cable.

o Prepared SMP/SOP/check sheet for Electrical equipment

maintenance and operation.

o Led team to carry out Electrical maintenance as per SMP

considering Hazard and risk assessment. Faced BSC and IMS audit

and contribute to get BSC 5 Star rating for the company with no

electrical query.

Inspection of Earthing system, its modification and installing new

components.

Increased the motor capacity by replacing with higher capacity motors

and modifying existing feeders.
