Recommendations
Bronson Methodist Hospital
January 17, 2011
Dear Chris,
W e are pleased to share with you that the Bronson Methodist Hospital Chest Pain Emergency
Center recently received full chest pain accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers
(SCPC); Cycle I11 with PC1 (percutaneous coronary intervention). Please accept our sincere
thanks for the important role that you played in helping us obtain this highest level of
accreditation.
SCPC reviewers called EMS providers in our region 'Class A" teams that work well with ED
physicians and cardiologists. In particular, reviewers noted how our EMS teams excel at
education, training and processes, such as completing the 12-lead EKG before getting
patients into the ambulance. One reviewer told EMS leaders, "You're very passionate about
what you do. This is your mission and you do it well." We couldn't agree more!
So thank you. Due to our collaborative efforts, Bronson is one of 10 hospitals in Michigan to
receive this highest level of chest pain accreditation. We could not do it without you. This
accreditation is recognition of your efforts, as much as ours.
Keep up the great work! When time is muscle, every minute counts.
Sincerely,
Melinda Gevaart Alison Hofheinz

To Whom It May Concern:
I a m writing this letter in enthusiastic support of Chris Ward, RN, regarding his application for a position with your organi zation.
I must say that I personally have had the opportunity to review reference letters before, and as I present to you my honest impressions of Mr. Ward, I
find it a bit of a challenge to clearly enough express what an amazing candidate you have before you. All reference letters indeed sound quite positive,
but my challenge is to convey to you what a truly exceptional ind ividual Chris Ward is, both in the quality and manner of his work and in the quality of
character that he possesses.
I have known Chris Ward for approximately four years and have been privileged to work with him on several different projects. As a pediatrician
within the Bronson system, he led his team through our facility to assess workflow patterns in an effort to reduce waste and increase efficiency. The
depth and insight of the evaluation that he brought us was rather astounding. Indeed, I was s o impressed that I specifically requested he return to our
facility again when another issue arose, as I truly believe the quality of his work was above anyone I had seen or heard of. Each subsequent time we
have interacted he has demonstrated the highest standards of professionalism, kindness, and leadership. Beyond that, he lives a life of integrity that I
personally admire greatly. He is able to present information with honesty and clarity while clearly earning the respect of e veryone he interacts with,
including my own deepest respect.
While it would definitely be a major loss to have him leave Bronson, I am excited for you to potentially have such a high qua lity individual serving your
organization. To be as clear as I possibly can, Mr. Chris War d has the absolute highest recommendation I could offer. If there is any additional
information you would like to discuss, I would be more than happy to speak with you further. Feel free to call me at 616 -308-1142.
Sincerely,
Thomas Huggett, MD
