ABG Shipyard is making Jack up Rig for Essar Oil Field Limited.
ABG is the biggest manufacturer of ships Presently working in
construction project of MOBILE OFFSHORE DRILLING JACK UP RIG for our
client ABG SHIPYARD LIMITED.
Designation: Production Engineer Offshore Division.
Job Responsibility
> Weld visual of weld joint with configuration like T-Joints, Butt Weld
and various T-K-Y connection joints.
> Witnessed of DPT, MPI and UT of various T-K-Y Joints, Butt Joints and
corner joints.
> Witnessed of Hydro test of pressure piping.
> Welder Qualification as per AWS D1.1.
> Fit up inspection various jobs as per approved drawing.
> Dry Survey of various jobs as per approved drawing which is related to
the Rig yard.
> Responsible for on line Process inspection of welding process.
> Reviewing the drawing and work for give for giving instructions to
welders for the improvement in welding.
> Preparing NDT Plan for (RT, UT, MT, VT). Also carried out Endoscopy of
welding joints.
> Maintaining documentation related to NDT activities.
> Co-ordinating with other functional departments such as Design,
Procurement, Electrical etc for successful completion of Project
