Dear Sir or Madam,
I am inquiring about a possible position within your company. I live in Woodstock and have many years of experience in the plumbing, sales, warehouse/inventory control, and electronics industries. I am a self-motivated, hard working, and dependable employee with high leadership, customer service and problem solving skills.
Immediately after graduating high school in June 1996, I joined the Marine Corps and served for five years with an honorable discharge. While enlisted, I was promoted quickly and lead my peers very successfully. I managed large logistical deployments of air traffic control equipment and taught electronics and micro-miniature circuit card repair to subordinates. After discharge from the Marine Corps, I worked at St. George Warehouse as a forklift operator and order processor while attending college. In July 2005, I began working for Ferguson Enterprises as a counter sales associate at a large plumbing warehouse. I excelled there in many areas until January 2009 when the company had many layoffs due to corporate downsizing. While unemployed, I worked as a plumber’s apprentice for Brooks Plumbing Inc. for 2 years. In January 2011, I began working for Roto-Rooter as the parts/purchasing coordinator and warehouse manager.
Troubleshooting is one of my best traits; whether it’s working with something I’ve prior knowledge of or on a completely new challenge. I’m willing to work as hard as I can to prove myself and move up in your company if offered a position. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss a possible long term career. You may reach me by phone or e-mail. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Patterson Flournoy
