* Supervised staff including behavioral health specialist, public health
nurse, and community health workers.
*Provided women with lactation education and support. Followed up on
referrals from providers on patients with lactating issues.
*Became Community Health Services Supervisor in 2003, which entailed HR
issues, meeting productivity goals, and collaborating with other
departments within the clinic for continuous quality improvement.
*Implemented OR Maternity Support Services program for women that came to
our clinic but lived in OR.
*Advocated for MSS program at State Level for continued funding of MSS
program during budget cuts and built relationships with community programs,
hospitals and other clinics in Walla Walla.
*Facilitated English and Spanish Chronic Disease Management course.
*Ran Reach out and Read Program for clinic, which entailed ordering
books, grant writing and maintaining the book budget.
* Worked with our WIC department to significantly improve the duration of
breastfeeding in our patients.
*Worked with other supervisors in clinic towards PCHH in order to meet
Meaningful Use Requirements.
*Coordinated volunteers for annual Early Learning Fair
