Senior Project Manager, Horizon BCBS (Contract: Prolifics) 11/12-5/13

Consulting to a major health insurance organization managing projects supporting the Affordable Care Act. Managed internal and external teams, controlled scope, budget and deliverables for assigned projects, met with business owners for membership and benefits workstreams to understand their needs, provided executive briefings and status reports:

-Implemented IBM Business Process Management to orchestrate the process of enrolling and maintaining SHOP groups using HIX 820 EDI. Responsible for executive status reports, project tracking and budget management.

-Implemented IBM Operational Decision Manager (iLog/Java) using business rules to automate the decision making process for group and member eligibility, identification of the market segment for a SHOP group and automate the assignment of Group IDs.

PMO Project Manager, Wyndham Worldwide (Contract: Corporate Brokers) 9/11–7/12

Consulting to a major hospitality organization managing projects for the shared services organization’s PMO. Managed internal and offshore development teams, controlled scope and deliverables for assigned projects, met with business owners for Legal, Finance and Internal Audit to understand their needs, provided executive briefings and status reports:

-Implemented custom SharePoint solutions for the Legal division and migrates content from Hummingbird CMS to SharePoint. Implementing content types, custom web parts, master pages, workflows, site layouts, eDiscovery capability and document repository services.

-Restarted a Clarity server consolidation project for the PMO that was late, negotiated a new plan forward with stakeholders. Managed the resources to achieve the scope, resolved project issues and resource conflicts, and facilitated team collaboration using SharePoint team sites.

-Deployed tax reporting solutions utilizing Oracle EBS extensions from Synchro. Major responsibilities included a 12 server Red Hat Linux private cloud build out running WebLogic J2EE to support the application tier. Coordinated multiple vendor teams and business units from South America.

SharePoint Project Manager, KPMG (Contract: Orion) 5/10–2/11

Consulting to a major financial organization conducting business analysis for a global financial SharePoint portal supporting the digital content marketing strategy:
