• Share responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of all persons at any site,
i ncluding staff, contractors and visitors and for local environmental safety.
• Manage the activities and operational work program as supervised by the
appropriate Supervisors. Ensuring that the operations and work activities are
performed in accordance with the applicable Management System, Policies,
P rocedures, work instructions and regulatory requirements.
• Plans, organizes, directs, administers and manages all Safety, Health,
E nvironment and Emergency Response Operations including management of

managers in meeting their HSE Management System responsibili ties /

• Lead the development and implementation of the Company’s Basic Safety
P rocess programs. This safety programs focused on activities that proactively
towards accident prevention, such as Safety Contact, Task Safety Observation,
S top the Job, Accident Predictive Technique, Work Team Safety Meetings etc.
• Represent organization on all safety related issues and assure compliance with
a ll applicable regulations and m aintain communications with corporate HSE,
national authorities, government bodies, and international communities
regarding HSE matters.
• Coordinate t raining to enhance competency and skill on safety for relevant
personnel and maintain highest level of preparedness in emergency response
and speedy recovery for business continuity through regular emergency and
c risis management exercises and drills.
• Suggests and ensures that all suitable Personal Protective Equipment is used
a t specific work stations.
• Conducts safety audits and inspections on monthly basis for all the fifteen (03)
sites throughout Malaysia and Indonesia . These sites comprised of processing
p lants, gas refilling stations, chemicals warehouse and depots to ensure that
i ncidents and losses are maintained at the lowest practicable levels and to
maintain the positive public.
• Coordinate, participate and follow-up on accident/ incident/ near miss
i nvestigation, HSE audits and inspections to ensure non-compliance are
corrected and mitigation measures implemented according to established
standards.
• Analyze safety statistics or safety related incidents, produce report and follow
u p on recommendation .
• Manage Emergency Response Team to insure effectiveness in handling
emergency situations.
