Objective

I have over 2 years of work experience in retail and 3 years experience as a assembly

line worker. Through my 2 years of retail experience i learned how to unload trucks

and sort the merchandise and keep it organized, i know how to set up displays and

center modules for the floor and some experience how to use a hand held scanner to

keep track and update inventory and i have good social skills to help maintain a

friendly work environment for co-workers and customers alike. Through my 3 years of

assembly line experience i learned how to build various types of equipment for

commercial air conditioning for buses such as evaporators, condensers and bulk head

units, i also know how to inspect the products for any imperfections or flaws, i know

how to trouble shoot the individual units when their is a problem and they are not

performing correctly. I know how to use various tools and equipment such as metal

sheers, power drills and air drills, commercial drill presses, hand held disk grinders for

metal surfaces and i know how to operate forklifts, stand up lifts and power jacks but i

am not licensed to use them but i have the experience how to use them and basic

knowledge of how they work.

Summary

I have over 3 years of work experience working in manufacturing and assembling

building various things such as furniture mechanisms and air conditioning equipment

for the bus industry so i am a skilled worker when it comes to production line work. i

have no accomplishments or awards but more often than not i was complimented on

my speed and quality of work and willingness to perform new tasks assigned to me. i

also have over 2 and half years of work experience in the retail industry, i was

awarded once for acknowledgment of being an outstanding worker and good with

customer satisfaction. i am a skilled worker and i have the willingness to learn new

trades and skills and give it 100 percent effort until its done correctly and meets

whatever company standards.

Experience

Rifled Air Conditioning Inc., High Point, NC

production worker/ instal team, 2010 - 2013

I was a line worker where i built various types of merchandise offered by the company

which ranged from things such as condensers, evaporators, bulkhead units etc. I built

and also trouble shooted our units to make sure they were performing to

specifications and not malfunctioning, i would also inspect warranty/claims

merchandise that returned back to the warehouse do to some kind of failure where i

would trouble shoot and diagnose the problem and determine the cause of the failure

and determine weither it can be repaired and also weither the failure was caused by

negligence or common wear and tear in the field. I also was trained to instal our

merchandise on various types of customers buses where each bus has its own order

for what is going to be placed on the bus where i would perform tasks such as pull

and cut various size hoses and electrical wiring, gather small parts for the individual

units needed to fit them correctly to the bus so that they may perform correctly and

efficiently to the company and industry standards. I have been trained how to use

various air and electrical powered tools and equipment ranging from metal sheers,

drills, hand held skill saws, non flammable nitrogen tanks, basic tools like ratchets,

wrenches etc.

At 1st i was a cashier for the company and helped maintain the store by keeping it

well stalked and assisting customers as needed through out the day then i was

changed to a sales clerk to help the customers and fellow employees and also

brought in at different shifts to stalk the shelves and keep track of the merchandise

and suggest new ideas to help the store grow and to make shopping easyer.. i am not

trained on a cash register but would gladly learn and also other new tools and devices

to keep track of inventory. i was complimented by my former boss and associates that

i was a good worker but no achievements to speak of.

My job responsibilities with this company were to mainly unload trucks by hand and

sort the merchandise to be placed in its proper area later in the evening were i was

also trained to read bar code labels and some experience with a device that scanned

the products and kept track of the inventory. my other responsibilities were to help my

fellow associates and customers as needed. i worked well with my fellow employes

and was recognized by the company with an award for customer service because i

was always willing to help a customer the best i could and be knowledgeable of the

products and help the customer decide which product may best suit them.

Assembly line/Paint line Associate, 2013 - 2013

During my stay with the company i was a assembly line worker where i would take

various parts and assemble them into the correct pattern to become the overall mek

itself when it reached the end of the line to await final inspection by another worker. I

also worked in other departments such as Bolt where after the meks are painted some

of them are pre or fully assembled in the warehouse and ready to be equipped to

whatever piece of furniture it was meant for and then later on shipped out to their

customer. I was also apart of the area named Paint where after the meks are

assembled on the assembly line they go to this area to be treated and cleaned then

carefully painted and receive final parts such as springs which help the mek to retract

and work properly. i was acknowledged by my fellow associates and superiors as a

hard worker and maintained a positive up beat attitude towards my work.

Physical Science Standard as an acknowledgement of my outstanding effort and hard

work in the class to maintain a high overall grade in the class and push myself to

perform my best in the class, as a result my teacher nominated me for the award i

received.
