OBJECTIVE
As a molding manager I am looking to join a company determined
to be a leader in the plastics industry. To be part of a company that

FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY
I am very experienced in the Processing of several materials
including PFA Teflon, nylon (carbon, glass, and Kevlar filled),
Polycarbonate with V-0 flame packages, PBT, SAN, PVC (both soft and rigid),
LCP, Noryel, rubber, and ABS.
I also have extensive experience machines ranging from 50 to 1500
tons. These machines include Van Dorn, Toshiba, HPM, Nessie, Mitsubishi,
Cincinnati, Multi-Plast rotary, JSW, and Sumotomo.
I also have extensive training with several types of finishing
and assembly processes, such as. Sonic welding, spin welding, non-contact
hot plate welding, heat transfer, pad printing, and in mold decorating.
As a Production Manager / Plant Manager, I implemented processes
to reduce total scrap rates from 4.5% of COGM to 2.25%. I was also able to
increase labor utilization from 80% to 95% along with an additional 10%
reduction in direct labor. I have managed growth of 400% in a 6 year
period. I have implemented programs such as 5'S that contributed to an 81%
reduction in accidents. I have also improved customer Quality ratings from
85% to over 99% by implementing "Train the Trainer", along with the
restructuring of the molding floor and layered audits, and by following ISO
9002 standards.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I have been trained in GE style 6-sigma green belt, AAIM
leadership, Hunker Laboratories closed loop automation, Whirlpool 6-sigms
black belt project team, Pathways to Leadership along with the Pathways to
leadership mastery program.

2007 to Present Molding Manager
I am responsible for the operations of 39 molding machines along
with meeting scheduled molding quantities and quality. During this time I
was able to reduce cycle-times by 20% and move the molding department from
a 3 shift 5 day operation to a 2 shift, 12 hour 3 day operation.
I am responsible to create and ensure company policies and
procedures are adhered to at all time. Also to verify operator training is
effective and consistent.
I also worked closely with quality to create standards for all new
product lines. I also worked with the tooling and maintenance departments
to start a preventive program to ensure that our tooling and equipment are
in good operating condition.

1980 to 1998 Process Engineer
My duties were to develop controlled processes for all molded
products and post molding operations. It also included the development of
work cells, performing "DOE's" and taking all new tooling from proto type
to FPA approval

My duties were to manage 65 injection molding machines, along
with ensuring the safety and maintenance of 850 customer molds. I was also
responsible to ensure the safety, and training for over 400 hourly
associates. It was my responsibility to ensure that all production,
tooling, maintenance functions were in compliance with out ISO standards. I
was responsible to also schedule all tooling and equipment repairs with the
scheduling manager. I was also responsible to develop and enforce all
company SOP
