MINI PROJECT:
"INDUSTRIAL FURNACE POWER CONTROL BY INTEGRAL CYCLE SWITCHING WITHOUT
GENERATING HARMONICS"
In this project we are using comparator for zero crossing detectors as
an interrupt to microcontroller. Here the microcontroller gives the output
on the base of the interrupt as the reference for generating the firing
control. Using the output we derive the Opto-isolator which acts as
switching element using this we will trigger the TRIAC on the base of TRIAC
we can make the cycle stealing.

"SENDING THE MESSAGE TO ELECTRICAL LOADS CONTROL THAT RESENDS
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT"
It is quite common for us to forget switching off load like
Television, Fan, lights and other appliances at our homes or offices. This
project provides a solution to avoid this problem by controlling our
electrical loads using SMS. The aim of the project is to control the loads
like Television, Refrigerator, lights etc. using a mobile phone. In this
project a GSM modem is interfaced with a microcontroller and it is
connected to relays to which the appliances are to be controlled are
connected. The microcontroller controls the relay for switching the load,
ON or OFF. Pre-defined text message are sent to GSM modem from a mobile
phone as SMS. After switching the load it will send status of electrical
load through an acknowledgement to the sent mobile.
