2012-2013-Mechanic Automotive, Generator Tech with G-Boss
Location: Camp Leatherneck-Afghanistan
During this time, my duties consisted of responding from different sites call with those tasks:
• Troubleshooting the generator to find the cause the machine stop working or the machine is
causing a power shortage with the help of schematic or the MTM (Military Technical Manual).
• Part Replacements such as water pump, switches, fan, fan belts, alternator, relays, starters, and
engine.
• Maintain the generator services, oil, fuel, coolant in a maintenance due time which also consist of
all broking wires to be fixe and if soldering is also need it.
• On site calls, I know how to bring GBL, CBL Towers down. How to turn on and turn off the
system. I also know how to wire the system from a generator most likely we use a 5 kw generator
or MEP 802A, or from house power. I also know how to service the tower.
