> Perform responsibilities of Operation and Maintenance of GSM

cell sites.

> Working on call basis for 24x7.

> In Cost Reduction-providing and discuss new ideas for cost

reduction process like diesel saving by implementation rest

system to generator during power cut, DC energy meter

correction processes and chase up for early restoration of

electricity connection on generator running sites.

> Coordinate with project team for installation, commissioning

and integration of new cell sites. Providing media to new

sites.

> In coordination chase for material delivery on site with in

time. Coordinate with vendors team and self enrolment for

RAN equipments like BTS/ microwave links/ feeder cables/IF

connectors/ GSM antenna installation and expansion, power

tapping, equipments earthing check and their commissioning.

> Coordinate with performance team for change in RF parameters

(if required), GSM antenna tilt, change in degree, checking

for diversity for providing good signals at mobile user end.

> Trouble shooting and root cause analysis of external alarms

(site on battery, rectifier fail, Fan fail, High Temperature)

and Internal alarm on RBS-CF and TRx (diversity, CDU fail,

CP bus fault, VSWR, sync fault, Rx cable disconnect fault,

DRU, RUG DUG fault).

> Ability to provide tier2 level trouble shooting, solving

basic technical problems and for investigating elevated

issues by confirming the validity of the problem and seeking

for known solutions related to complex issues.

> Expert in handling Ericsson RAN equipments-BTS RBS6000

series, RBS2900 series, RBS 2200 series, RBS 2100 series,

DUG, RUG, SAU, PDU, DRU, CDU, DXU,TMA, booster, BTS

expansion, addition/deletion of carrier(DRU), installation of

data base (IDB) configuration-2x2x2, 2x3x3, 4x4x4, 3x3x2

using OMT.

> Good hands on handling Ericsson BSC, Expansion and capacity

enhancement of BSC from 700 to 1300 TRx. CP and AP data

backup from Node, alarm checking through Winfoil and citrix.

> Raising CSR for complex issues. Supporting NOC team for AP

node change process by using Alex library files. Use of ROMT

(remote OMT).

> Individual contribution for swapping of Motorola to Ericsson

BTS/BSC (for 350 cell sites)

> In Motorola, extensive knowledge and hand on experience on

Horizon-2 BTS, BSC.

> Calibration and power level check for Motorola BTS (RU unit).

TRx card expansion and replacement in Motorola BSC.

> Using Anritsu VSWR equipment to check Voltage Wave standing

ratio to provide desired signal strength through feeder

cables.

> Handling of Huawei DWDM equipment, power level check.

Capacity enhancement from STM1 to STM 64 to STM 128.

> Implementation of ring protection system (1+1 SNCP) in SDH

and SPDH microwavelinks.

> Expert in handling the trouble shooting and commissioning

Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy

(PDH) NEC, Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) NEC-NEO
