I drive the strategic direction for my region with creation of new products & services that consist of large
P&C programs for placement in the insurance and reinsurance market. I create Reinsurance strategies for
clients within Latin America and the Caribbean. I a nalyze data from insurance carriers and make strategic
product and pricing recommendations. Develop and implement cost savings strategies for individual
companies for underwriting, claims and pricing. This requires a high level of leadership, team building,

expertise and continued premium growth managed the day-to-day cessions to treaty department growth.
This involved evaluating high hazard and catastrophe reinsurance cessions and managing $110 million of
ceded premium to the department. Underwriting, pricing, marketing, contract review, Auditing of clients’
portfolios, Interaction with accounting and claims were all responsibilities for renewal treaties as well as
the profitable development of new business. Ran all treaty reinsurance practices for region, high hazard
and catastrophe underwriting, catastrophe modeling, the underwriting audit process, pricing development
and market intelligence gathering. Coordinated, gathered and analyzed information to support region
targets. Analyze cession methods based on aggregation of risks and premium volume to the aggregate
treaty to meet premium targets for the department.

Segment includes multiple distributions through incoming calls, internet and on-line broker markets.
Functional responsibility for compliance, loss results, staffing, customer service, data quality,
underwriting training, recruiting and budgeting. Trains all new underwriters in the Portfolio Underwriting
Process. Territory for National Call Center includes the Southern, New England, Central and Mid-
Atlantic regions consisting of 28 states.

Portfolio underwriter responsible for the largest personal auto division within Liberty Mutual. $220MM
Massachusetts book, consisting of multiple distributions including 21 state wide sales offices and 66
