On-site building inspector at a New York City Housing Authority owned and operated 35-acre housing complex. Performed daily inspections of on-going concrete balcony renovation work for compliance with contract documents and specs, including concrete sound and flood testing. Generated punch-list and field sketches for both concrete and masonry renovation work.

2010-2011 PARSONS BRINCKERHOFF / GENERAL RESEARCH – Teaneck, NJ

Senior Architect

As a Building Inspector, performed building condition assessments on buildings and facilities owned and operated by the Dept. of Education and the NYC School Construction Authority (SCA). Generated on-site reports which included the overall condition of the building’s exterior components, structure, accessibility status and outstanding DOB violations. Conducted interviews with School Principal and Custodian to address their concerns. Inspection results were input on a hand-held computer and downloaded with customized software.

Provided CA Services on multiple projects concurrently including affordable HPD housing, luxury condominiums and artists’ live/work lofts. Duties included review contractor’s submittals, RFI responses, evaluate inspection test reports and review code issues. Maintained client and contractor contact and coordinated with engineers. Documented on-site construction progress, approved contractor’s applications for payment and generated punch-list resulting in a TCO.
