Resume
Objective
I have a long history of fleet maintenance and I would like to highlight my last two
positions to give you an overview of my transferrable skills.
In Kandahar, Afghanistan I had a unique assignment for Amtex. They provided the escort
services for the KAF Air Base which is the facility that supports the International troops
fighting the war on terror. I was expected to keep vehicles prepared for 24/7 use and of
course, making sure the right vehicles were available for security exercises and actual air
and land attacks. Here is an excerpt from a letter from the VP of Operations for Amtex:
“Tom’s role was to analyze, mentor and repair a transportation fleet of over 99 vehicles
with primitive, improvised tools and a local workforce. Thomas gained the respect and
trust of the local mechanics. Thomas proved to be a very resourceful mentor with the
ability to think outside the box. His drive and dedication flowed over to his whole
team.”
At Kelley Amerit Fleet Services, we serviced AT&T and their extensive fleet of vehicles that
included heavy and aerial equipment. I was the Manager in the Daytona, Florida regional
facility.
At this point, I would be an excellent candidate for companies who manage and maintain
vehicles as an asset. The details of this resume will list all of my extensive mechanical
skills and diagnostic experience. However, in this economy, it’s the knowledge of how to
save money on fuel and maintenance that makes a manager valuable and….that is my
forte.
Dependable, professional and energetic describes me… and I can pass any and all
background and drug tests that may be required by any company.
