PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Senior Construction Manager & Owner’s Representative at GIC Construction Management, Inc. in New York,
NY (2006 to Present)
Construction consultant and local law 11 manager. Manage projects from preconstruction through day to day construction
management, to project close-out. Expert level knowledge of preconstruction activities includes planning and drafting with
designers and architects, conceptual estimating, bid review, and subcontractor selection. Facilitates the entire construction
process including scheduling, procurement, document control, quality control, and crisis management/troubleshooting.
Renovated 89 SRO units at the Cecil Hotel, total cost $6M. Reduced change orders 20% by collaborating with a
subcontractor to handle unforeseen repairs in a more cost effective way than the original contractor.
Restored and waterproofed the exterior brick (Local Law 11 Manager) on the 326 unit apartment building,
Kenmore Hall. Coordinated project logistics between the owner and the contractor to upgrade 110 SRO and 16
bathrooms for members of the Law Project without a single residential complaint. Additionally repaired
structurally degraded steel as part of Local Law 11.
Upgraded the interior and life safety systems of the Church Street School for Music for $2M. Expanded and
renovated 6000 sq. ft. of adjoining basement and 1st floor of three neighboring buildings. Collaborated with
architect, practice room manufacturer, and contractor in the field to ensure correct installation, and proper wiring
for internal fire alarms.

Increased annual volume from $60M to $200M while raising profit margins to 17%. Managed up to 22 projects at any given
time and had management responsibility for 4 superintendents, and coordinated up to 400 construction personnel. Notable

Joseph E. Seagram & Sons New York headquarters build-out of 50,000 sq. ft., totaling $12M.
Completed a 57 floor, 120 luxury apartment high rise, Galleria Building, on east 57 th Street for $20M. Selectively
chose the best superintendents and contractors to complete amenities, public and commercial spaces.
Extended the United Airlines terminal at JFK Airport and installed moveable corridors. Adhered to complex
federal regulations regarding airport safety and security.
