Description:
Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) provide pre-built
integration of data from Fusion, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD
Edwards, SAP and other sources into an integrated data warehouse optimized
for analysis.
Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) is the real-time
operational reporting solution for Fusion, allowing customers the ability
to create ad-hoc queries against the Fusion applications schema to support
current state reporting and analysis of their operations.
Fusion Analytics Applications (OTBI and OBIA) will build a common semantic
model using OBIEE. The data sourcing strategy for Fusion Analytics
Applications will be to source exclusively from Fusion VOs (for Fusion
data). We will rely on VOs for the implementation of functional concepts,
including security, trees and many more.
OTBI will build an OBIEE logical and presentation layer on top of Fusion
VOs. OBIA will use Fusion VOs as source for extracting data into warehouse
schema using Informatica. Both analytics are built on a single platform
with same business and presentation layers.
Responsibilities:
. Analyze the requirements provided in Functional Design Document by
Project Management Team.
. Validate the requirement from the technical stand point and Proof of
Concepts (POC) was built to check the technical feasibility for the
development of the feature. Preparation of Feature Design Document
based on architecture designed.
. Technical Implementation was done based on the design documentation
for the required functionality. Created mappings in Informatica using
various transformations to load extracted data into staging, DWH
tables as per strategies. Created metadata and platform i.e. physical,
BMM and presentation layers in rpd for reports.
. Prepared unit test cases and executed them to test the code developed.
. Performing test cases for the integrated application to identify the
correct dependency and rectify the same. React proactively and solve
bugs raised by QA team during QA acceptance testing.
. Help Customer in solving critical bugs when Support team cannot
resolve.
. Create and maintain technical design documentats(TDDs) and component
release notes using defined templates in specified project folders.
. Help new joiners and peers in understanding the project standards and
the functionality in the modules I am working for.

Description:
The HBUS wants a DW BI Solution for bringing the PFS data into one master
warehouse. All reporting and business analysis is to be sourced from this
warehouse.
The project mainly deals with the Relationship Management of HSBC's most
profitable customers and prospects. Building this warehouse helps them in
many aspects. It helps RMs to achieve greater revenues through analysis of
detailed Customer level data. There are weekly reports which are generated
through Cognos based on the warehouse summary tables.
This also serves the source files to the Callidus system which is the
Performance Management system for the RMs. GFTG (Go for the Gold) is the
sub project which is being developed for capturing the data which gives
much detail level of information about the RMs and their performances.
Responsibilities:
. The project involved extracting data from various MainFrame files and
loading the data to the Stage tables depending on the type of file
sent by the mainframe system (CDC or not).
. Created the jobs using various stages such as the DB2/UDB Enterprise,
Aggregator, Transformer, Join, Lookup, Copy, Filter, Funnel, Data Set,
Sequential File, Change Capture, Sort, Remove Duplicates, Annotation
and Link.
. Used DataStage Designer to create jobs using different stages to
populate data to a Data Warehouse.
. Developing and modifying changes in jobs according to business logic.
. Involved in developing Unit Test cases for the developed jobs.
. Worked on the Data Mapping sheets and actively participated in client
calls for clarifications.

Description:
The integrated Data Warehouse is an evolving collaborative; GE Money Global
HQ led initiative on a data warehousing solution framework.
The objectives of the iDW are to integrate the atomic data from multiple
product lines in a given local business and also to offer an integrated
access point for multiple business functions. The roadmap of iDW evolution
is in the critical path of several countries moving towards their next
generation business processes, including GEMINI architecture.
The iDW is designed to offer rich layers of atomic data, Risk and
CRM/Marketing analytic/performance variables, Account and Customer
Behavior, contact-channel as well as operational and collections related
data: assembled at Account level, as well as aggregated at a Unified
Customer level. The iDW, in its entirety is a multi-tiered system that also
envisages a layer of flexibly structured data marts and optional
operational reference able data systems for aiding Front Office
Applications. Due to the enterprise nature of the data, profiling for
quality, audits and a rich metadata experience are bundled within the iDW
rollout framework. Also, the data needs of critical business systems like
GCMS (Campaign Management) and AML are being pre-built into the iDW data
structures.
Responsibilities:
. The project involved extracting data from various sources, then
applying the transformations before loading the data into target
(warehouse) Stage tables and Stage files.
. Worked on Informatica power center tools-Source Analyzer, Warehouse
designer, Mapping Designer, Transformation Developer.
. Created the mappings using various transformations and build
strategies for different logics based on Business requirements and
populate Data Warehouse.
. Involved in developing Unit Test cases for the developed mappings.
. Worked on the Data Mapping sheets and actively participated in client
calls for clarifications.
. Giving UAT support when the codes are in UAT.
. Worked on different strategies like Exchange partitioning for Fact

Description:
A data warehouse is built which acts as a tracking system to identify the
performance of the helpdesk for GE Aviation.
The users open the tickets in the HPSD. The information entered in the
HPSD need to be extracted, transformed using the Informatica mappings and
then loaded into the target database or the data warehouse.
A package is developed for the reporting purpose which is the base for the
reports which are generated based on the requirements and taking all the
related information from the databases based on which the decision making
is done.
Responsibilities:-
. Involved extracting data and transforming the data before loading the
data into target (warehouse) Oracle tables. The transformations
included generating unique sequence numbers and aggregators for the
star schema target tables. The data sources were Oracle database
tables and flat files and the target tables were in Oracle database.
. Involved in developing Unit Test cases for the developed mappings.
. Worked extensively with mappings using Source Qualifier, Expression,
Filter, Joiner, Rank, Aggregator, Lookup and Update strategy
transformations.
. Generating reports using Report Net.
. Writing Queries in SQL to generate the reports according to the user
requirements.
