These programs are gradually aimed to eliminate child labour through reinforcement of right to education, improve quality of teaching in government schools through technical support to teachers and incorporate multi lingual approach in teaching in interstate border area schools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Child Rights based Project development, planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting and documentation.

To identify potential stakeholders and partners who can get aligned with the goal and objectives of projects keeping vision and mission of NEG-FIRE.

To support senior staff and HR in the selection process of personnel.

To assess the need of staff, stakeholder community and partners and build their capacities to implement the programs effectively and record the experiences which could help in visioning and planning for betterment of project and can contribute to institutional knowledge.

To contribute and execute the strategic plan of NEG-FIRE.

To contribute to the annual and long term program and budgetary planning.

ACHIEVEMENTS:-

Developed logical framework, monitoring matrix and tools of the program.

About the program: Geographical Coverage- Tonk district (40 villages) No. of direct reportees-82; Annual Budget- Rs. 1.8 Crore (first phase, 1.3 Crore 2nd phase & 90 Lakhs for 3rd phase). This program was aimed to address child’s rights to survival, development, safe drinking water and protection.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Child Rights based Project development, planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting and documentation.

Monitoring project implementation on key outcomes and deliverables.

Periodical reporting and analysis to improve quality of implementation; support and facilitate staff for qualitative first hand report.

Evaluation of different partner’s program and participation in fund raising activities.

Liaising, convergence and networking with duty bearers, various Govt. stakeholders, local self-government etc. sensitization and joint action planning.

ACHIEVEMENTS:-

Number of excluded children (working children) has been reduced from 189 to 12 in project villages during last 3 years.

Child marriage cases have been reduced from 32 to 5 in project area gradually from 2006. Even average age of marriage is increased from 10-12 to 16-19.

Community Based Organizations of adults and children are strengthen, ownership on school, and other government service deliveries became strong and community is taking action on behalf of children and their rights.

Community based redressal systems are working.

Synergy with various government departments is good, even interventions and outcomes are being recognized.
