3/12 to 4/13: Open Plan Systems

Improve day-to-day operations and start implementation of 5 S

training. Improved accuracy, picking errors, warehousing, and

packaging to customer. Developed packaging systems from just

boxing products to photographing and identifying each product

for shipping verification purposes. After goals were

accomplished a Bartender Barcoding system was installed.

Worked with employees to evaluate skill sets to identify

strengths and retrain on their weakness. Lean manufacturing

practices improved department bottom line, appearance and

employee morale. Sales improved 32% over 13 month period and

department errors dropped below 99.5%.

8/07 to 10/11: AGC-Flatglass North America

Promoted to Plant Supervisor. On call 24/7. Annual sales of

$10 million a year. Responsible for Shipping (through J.B.

Hunt Dedicated) and Receiving, Warehouse, Cutting,

Fabrication, Tempering, Sample and IG Departments. Initiated

new safety program that lead to over 50,000 work hours without

a recordable injury. Helped implement Lean Manufacturing and

start up 6'S. Assisted in start up of $1.5 million Forel IG

line and temporing oven upgrades.

Transportation Manager. On-call 24/7. Responsible for 14

trucks and ten drivers. Set up delivery routes to ensure

II unit. Audited employee timecards and plant expenditures to

monitor costs and stay within budget. Initiated the

redrafting of SOPs, SOCs, and JSAs. Lead improvements in

Plant Supervisor. Company is ISO certified. Contracted by

DuPont to heat, calendar, and print their spun bonded rolls to

strict specifications into Tyvek . The Tyvek is then

converted and packaged for shipments worldwide. Increased "up-

time" initiative by 10%. Increased production by using

assignment board to run more efficiently. These improvements

reduced internal and external complaints by half. Controlled

flexo plate cage to improve print quality and plate wear.
