working knowledge of Army and University supply procedures and requirements to coordinate the internal activities of the
supply section with other sections of the SROTC battalion.
Protects supplies and equipment from loss. Ensures the protection and integrity of the accounts and accountable records.

Maintains unit property book and maintains supply records on a formal supply accounting basis. Initiates and processes
requisitions, purchase requests, reports of survey, cash collection vouchers, statement of charges, inventory adjustment
reports, equipment status reports, acquisition reports, material readiness, and other reports required by higher
headquarters. Maintains property accountability, which includes physical inventories and resolving inventory
discrepancies.
Reviews new or changed policies and regulations affecting supply and property management activities and assists in the

development of new or changed internal procedures and implementation of such changes. Prepares a variety of recurring
reports such as equipment status report, maternal readiness report, equipment dispatch report, and vehicle utilization
reports. Refers to technical manuals and other pertinent guidance for reporting requirements. Establishes records to
accumulate maintain and extract data to compile these reports. Attends conferences and meetings on supply and
logistical matters with higher headquarters and others. Serves as the Logistics representative in the areas of
management, budget, and logistics in the conduct of Command Inspections and assistance visits of other ROTC
battalions. Works independently as a team leader or as a team member during inspections. Prepares detailed written
reports, analysis, and recommendations of findings for each unit inspected.
Maintains oversight for battalion's supply/equipment budget and projected expenditures to ensure budget is not exceeded.

Coordinates all procurement actions for battalion's summer camp (IMPAC and PRC). Coordinates all procurement actions
for battalion activities to include field training exercises (FTX's), staff rides, and daily operations through the use of the
government purchase card (GPC), and the monthly reconciliation of these charges on the Customer Automated and
Reporting Environment (CARE). Tracks obligations, ensuring expenditures do not exceed funding commitments and
reprograms funds as necessary. Analyzes data and recommends changes for increases or decreases in funding.
Compiles data for the annual Battalion OMA/MPA budget submission to the servicing installation budget office. Prepares a
Phase Plan spreadsheet to project expenditures for a twelve month period and prepares updates as requested.
As Battalion physical security and ammunition control officer, exercises control over unit arms, ammunition, and

equipment. Instructs cadets in proper maintenance of small arms. Issues and accounts for small arms and ammunition.
Ensures the arms room is maintained IAW applicable regulations. Ensures that intrusion detection devices for the arms
room and the building are maintained for proper operation. Assists the Training Section in developing the ammunition
forecast for the Battalion. Reviews past usage figures, number of cadets, and training data and prepares and submits
requests for the issue and turn in of ammunition. Maintains accountability of all issued ammunition. Prepares necessary
certification and documentation for turn in. Prepares weapons inventory report, security report on small arms and
ammunition. Maintains detachment key control register for University and Detachment keys personnel who require the use
