WORK HISTORY

10/1/12 - Current Owner, Jani Can You Errand Services

Running errands such as, grocery shopping, package

shipping, house sitting, deliveries, personal

assistance, research/fact finding, pick-up and delivery

of construction supplies, new home cleaning, large and

small animal hauling. Making dump runs with a dump

trailer from personal home sites and construction sites,

hauling multiple items on flatbed, stock and horse

trailers.

7/1/05 - 9/30/12 Office Assistant (Typing), California Department of

Forestry & Fire Protection

I continue to have most of the same responsibilities

that I had with Tehama County. My new responsibilities

include paying county fire department bills, typing

revolving fund and emergency fire time checks, managing

the petty cash fund, take, submitting and forwarding

fire report requests and I am involved in the production

& distribution of the annual report.

Warehouse Assistant 4/15/2012 - 7/15/2013, Temporary

assignment while Forestry Logistics Operator was out on

sick leave. Ordering, stocking, and distributing

supplies, record keeping of stock on hand, operating

hand trucks to move pallets of supplies and keeping

database records of state and county safety equipment.

8/14/00 - 6/30/05 Office Assistant III, Tehama County Fire Department

My responsibilities include preparing and editing

reports on a daily basis, data entry, mail processing,

filing, faxing, answering phones, assisting new &

current volunteer firefighters, record and process plot

plans, assist the public with questions & concerns. I

also prepare and copy handouts for training classes,

monitor work for progress, accuracy, and completeness,

adhere to established guidelines and procedures.

Prepare a variety of reports, documents, and

correspondence. Create and prepare a variety of reports

from data entered and retrieved from the computer. I

keep vehicle mileage reports for the unit and enter

County Shop invoices into database. And other duties as

requested and required.

I worked with young children to teach them the

importance of saving our heritage and keeping the earth,

animals, and plants here to stay. Tasks included

gathering acorns, and learning how Indians used them for

food, keeping track of the migration of birds, cleaning

up after natural disasters, and learning about different

types of birds, animals, fish, parasites, plants, trees,

and many other species.

2001-2002 Los Molinos Volunteer Fire Department, Los Molinos, CA

Assist in the protection of life, environment and

property in rural areas of Tehama County. Including but

not limited to, medical aids, structure fires, wildland

fires, public assist and city assists.
