I. Individual Counseling
-Counseled students in grades 5-8 utilizing REBT, Person-Centered, Solution Focused, and CBT
approaches to address depression, social deficiencies, academic performance concerns,
family domain issues, hygiene, abuse, etc.
-Provided consistent one-on-one counseling sessions for 6-8 weeks at a time to students for
depression, anger, and suicidal ideations. Conducted suicide and threat assessments.
II. Group Counseling
-Led multiple psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic groups in hetero and homogeneous
make-up for 8-10 weeks per group.
-Group focuses covered primarily personal/social and academic skill deficiency/development,
but career development was utilized for creating future-oriented goals
III. Classroom Guidance
-Provided classroom guidance lessons to 5th grade students on career development
-Assisted in the review and decision making process concerning career guidance curriculum and
program implementation of The Real Game
-Provided lesson to 8th grade students utilizing program Career Cruising
