Company : Impulse Engineering.

Project Title: “Abrasive Jet Machining”.

Role : Manufacturing Engineer

Duration : 6 Months

Project Details: In this process, a high velocity water jet is made to impinge on to the work piece. This

jet pierces the work material and performs a sort of itching operation. These high velocity jets can be

used to cut relatively softer and non-metallic materials like paper boards, wood, glassfibres, leather,

plastics etc. In this process, material removal is high.

Project Title: Study of project on “Hydraulic Coal Wagon Tippler”.

Role : Trainee

Duration : 2 Months

Project Details: Wagon tippler is a device used to unload the material from railway wagons. This

operation takes place in raw material management department. The tippler consists of two circular rings,

a platform with travel rails, support rollers, two girders as well as clamping device, which retains the

wagon from the top as well as from the side during tippling. The tippling rate can be varied to suit

particular plant requirements, up to maximum of about 60 wagons per hour, to achieve throughput of

more than 12 wagons per hour.

Course Details: AutoCAD (Automated Computer Aided Design) is a software application for

engineers. The modern AutoCAD includes a full set of basic solid modeling and 3D tools. The release of

AutoCAD 2007 included the improved 3D modeling that provided better navigation when working in

3D.

make the object realistic. The main advantages of CATIA that it is very user friendly software.
