Duties – Performed traffic counts all around Lancaster County to be used to retime

traffic signals along Lancaster City’s major traffic corridors.

Department of Environmental Protection – Internship – summer 2004

Duties – Entered quarterly and annual monitoring well data into the microsoft access

database for all permitted landfills in southcentral Pennsylvania. Audited previously

approved recycling grants to ensure that municipalities utilized these monies

appropriately for the equipment specified within their grants.

Duties – Performed compliance checks for single family waste water treatment

systems: Collected, fixed, and transported water samples from the treatment

systems utilizing proper sampling protocol and analyzed effluent chlorine levels

using a HACH meter.
