Primarily responsible for the supervision of all Domestic Outbound Receipt, Unload,

Identification, Transfer and Storage of Goods including simple parcel to Commercial

responsible for overseeing the day to day processes of GMP’s; Receiving, Receiving Inspection,

Stocking of Materials, Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment and Product Inspection.

I assisted in enforcing and maintaining Safety Compliance and ISO Procedure compliance.

I coached and assisted employees in the application of “Lean Manufacturing Principles”.

Maintained an Inventory Accuracy variance of less than 1% on all materials consisting of

Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys 625 and 718, K500 Alloy, E9310 Alloy, E4140 Alloy,

Brass, Bronze, and various other Carbon Steels in Plate, Sheet and Bar form.

Conducted on a monthly basis 5S facility audits: reported and documented all findings and made

Managed a core crew of 45 permanent employees and up to 120 temporary employees at peak season.

Managed the day-to-day operations of Production, Order Processing, Order Filling, Shipping and

Receiving and Inventory Control.

Managed, tracked and inspected all inbound and outbound shipments coming and going to and from the

US to China. This included all inbound containers coming from overseas and into the Port of Long

Beach. Implemented and enforced strong processes for Quality Assurance and product integrity.

Focused, reduced and maintained overhead expenses such as unnecessary manpower and or the

purchasing of shipping supplies under control and within the department budget.

Within my first six months I reduced vendor rates by 25% in the areas of corrugated supplies,

shipping supplies, hardwood pallets, janitorial supplies and temporary personnel rates.

Implemented consistent Cycle Counting which resulted in an Inventory accuracy of 98.6%

Partnered with human Resources on the implementation and enforcement of IIPP.
