OBJECTIVE

Money! What? Sure, I enjoy my work, quite a bit in fact, but in the end I'm looking for a paycheck. After all, I use

computers to do my job and they're...well, temperamental.

Whether it's large manuals, short user guides, wiki updates or a full knowledge base, I'm all about doing quality work in a

timely manner. I enjoy the ugly, mundane, necessary details that make written materials useful.

Nobody reads the manual because it's usually painfully boring! I get that. So when I write, I think about my audience.

I consider how much time I might have to pass the most important information in front of them. How much time do they

have scanning over a bunch of in fact, just skip ahead to the bullets below. There's some stuff in bold along the way in

case you're curious. :@)

PROFESSIONAL

SUMMARY

Published writer and experienced Information Technology professional with a reputation for completing challenging

technical projects. Extensive research skills. Extremely organized. Highly focused and motivated. A hands-on go-getter

with 25+ years of extensive technical background particularly with government, military and medical institutions.

I work best with sound direction, proper tools and solid deadlines. If any of those three things are missing, I'll happily fill

in where I can. I can just as easily work with a team or on my own and I'm perfectly happy working a contract to

completion or being that long-term go-to guy my co-workers can depend on. I'm very adaptable and have worked in

numerous industries in varied environments. I maintain my own equipment and software and can be trusted for

telecommuting work when appropriate.
