I am a young and eager recent graduate from Heidelberg University who is looking to acquire a

position in the information technology field. My educational background has prepared me for a

long, successful career. With the hands-on computer training I received at Heidelberg University,

as well as the IT experience that is under my belt, make me excited to contribute my enthusiasm

and up-to-date skills.

My time at Progressive has really expanded my knowledge in the information technology field. I

have learned almost all of the software and hardware that Progressive Insurance uses such as

laptops, desktops, servers, printers, aircards, virtual machines, VPN, mainframe, and much more.

I was able to learn, troubleshoot, and support all of these components of Progressive. I have

learned how to stay organized and have seen firsthand how great oral and written communication

is essential to the IT field.

At Solid Foundations I was able to put my education to work by updating their computer system

and network. Also, I was able to write several custom estimating programs that took the total

time to get an estimate out from about an hour, to ten minutes. Organizing and automating their

office to be more efficient was also a project I had worked on. In 2012, which was my first full

year with Solid Foundations reflected my success; as I was able to help the sales of the company

increase more than 50%.
