I am currently working in ALSTOM Projects India Ltd. (Durgapur, W.B.) as a

Shop Manager. I have worked with different organizations like ISGEC, Godrej

& Boyce etc. wherein I was introduced to varied working environment and

thus have gained valuable work experience over the last twenty years. My

Durgapur, INDIA

Heading Vessel & Panel Shop (Supercritical & Sub Critical Boiler Power

projects):

. Presently leading a team of 21 Engineers & 220 workforces for

Fabrication of Super Critical Boiler Pressure Parts. Water

wall & Spiral Panels, Manufacturing of Headers, Piping,

Separators & Storage Tank of 660 MW& 800 MW.

. Coordinate with Higher management for improvement plans,

maximum utilization of resources and manage the team for

doing things right first time to meet the targeted delivery

schedule

. Besides fabrication familiarity with Hot/ cold Forming,

various Welding Processes & Machining of components.

. Coordination with Planning, MMI, Project & Quality control for smooth

time and cost includes leading the planning and development of all project

deliverables. Responsible for managing the budget and schedule and all

projects. Identifying, tracking managing and resolving project issues.

Identifying, managing and mitigating project risk. Ensuring solution is

of acceptable quality. Proactively managing scope to ensure that only what

was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope

management. Defining and collecting metrics to give a sense for how the

project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are

acceptable. Managing the overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and

completed on time and within budget.
