Major Accomplishments/End Results
Boiler maintenance, replacement, and reliability through application of
system modeling are investigated in is project. Using system modeling,
component and capital equipment replacement policy is optimized. As well as
different failure distributions based on cost investment are also
incorporated in maintenance decision making. Finally, for optimization and
decision making a model named Condition based monitoring (CBM) is
generated.
