DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER, CONSTRUCTION
In this position as a Deputy Program Manager for the West Contra Costa Unified School District Bond Program,
I oversee all construction projects to ensure successful completion in terms of cost and schedule. Projects range
from small summer projects to campus replacement ranging from $.5M to $65M. I supervise/manage all
activities of the on site CM team. Supervise the review/negotiations of Change Orders, review/approval of
Contractor's CPM schedule and schedule of values, approval of monthly payments, quality control, budget
management, submittal review and processing, RFI processing and closing out projects. Responsible for
solving claim issues submitted by Contractors.

Responsible for the overall management (mobilization, construction & closeout) of the $20 M High School
lease-lease back project in El Monte, CA. My responsibilities included management of the site personnel,

As a Sr. Project Manager at the Yosemite Community College District Measure E, a $325 M bond measure, I
managed all on going construction projects from the start of the bidding phase through construction.
Responsible for all reporting functions to upper management and District. During the design phase, I reviewed
project design documents for constructibility and was part of the value engineering team. During the bidding
phase, I developed the project General Conditions and General Requirements and ensured correctness of the Bid
Documents and managed bid advertisement, pre-bid meetings, issuance of Addendum, bid opening, award and
issuance of NTP. During the construction phase for projects where a field CM was assigned, I
supervised/managed/coordinated the site team (CM personnel, Contractors, A/E and Consultants and District).
Supervised the review/negotiations of Change Orders, review/approval of Contractor's CPM schedule and
schedule of values, approval of monthly payments, quality control, budget management, Submittal review and
processing, RFI processing. Responsible for solving claim issues submitted by the Contractor. Also, during that
time, I was responsible for the day to day management of projects, which did not have a field CM assigned to it.
KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Supervised/coordinated contractor's field activities and completed the MJC Auditorium, a $25.5M project. The
project was completed on time and within budget.
Supervised management of two projects at the Columbia College campus, Child Development ($5.5M), Science
($8.5M).
I managed various other small projects ranging in size between $.5M and $4M and completed them on time and
within budget.

City of Foster City Fire Station and City Hall, a $38M project. Managed all field activities for the project,
which despite the re-design of the structural steel three months after NTP, the project was completed on time
through re-scheduling and re-sequencing of the remaining work and also with increased expected profit.
State of the Art CSU Stanislaus Science Building, a $41M LEED project. Managed all field construction
activities for the project, which was completed on time, within budget and at the same time increased the
expected profit while dealing with major revisions to HVAC and Life Safety systems.
Managed all field activities and completed three projects at the San Francisco Airport, including two Parking
Garages (one $25M, the other $28M) and a Light Rail Station and Maintenance Building ($18M), all on time
and within budget.
Managed the completion of the Hercules Elementary School, a $13M project was completed on time despite
losing one of the major subs through bankruptcy.

During the design phase, I managed the preparation of the Construction Documents as well as constructibility

Plaza Park, a $12M Project. Managed completion of the contract documents and following NTP,
supervised/coordinated contractor's field operations as the Owner's Representative.
Children's Discovery Museum, a $22M project. Managed completion of the contract documents and following
NTP, supervised/coordinated contractor's field operations as the Owner's Representative.
The Repertory Theater, a $32M project. Managed completion of the contract documents and following NTP,
