Quality Services Laboratory Technician III- Lead Technician

• Conduct comprehensive investigations of consumer complaints; providing root cause analysis, establishing Standard Operating Procedures, and taking permanent corrective measures of any identified issues.

• Perform adjustments and/or corrections to product blends when out of normal operating conditions are experienced to produce finished goods that are in compliance with FDA, USDA, and Coca-Cola Refreshments product specifications.

• Perform quality and sanitation auditing functions for CCR by testing, surveying, collecting data and analyzing findings of raw materials, finished goods, processing areas, processing equipment, and processing practices to assure compliance with FDA, USDA, and GMP policies.

• Lead Laboratory team of technicians to produce finished goods that are in compliance with FDA, USDA, and Coca-Cola Refreshments product specifications while ensuring all GMP’s, GLP’s are followed in addition to maintaining ISO 9001/2200 & PAS 220 compliance.

• Analyze incoming ingredients, blends, finished goods, and semi-finished goods for refractive index/soluble solids, percent acid, recoverable oil, ascorbic acid, density, viscosity, pH, calcium, and microbiological detection. Submit all analyzed data into company wide data base.

• Analyzed Personal Breathing Apparatus filters for radiation isotopes (i.e. uranium, thorium, and plutonium isotopes) using Canberra Alpha Analyst (alpha/beta spectroscopy).
