• Joined BHARAT OMAN REFINARY LTD. BINA (MP) on August 2012.

• Responsible for control room operation of 3*275 TPH CFBC boilers & 3*33MW

steam turbine. Also responsible for providing process steam to Refinery.

• Good knowledge in operation of coal based CFBC boilers, Steam turbines (extraction

cum condensing type) with its related auxiliaries & the utility services and all the

balance of plant equipments from field & DCS (Centum CS-3000 Yokogawa).

• To ensure smooth and efficient operation of power plant and utilities and

uninterrupted supply of steam, power and utility services.

• To ensure safe operation of plant within the limit of operating parameters and

environment friendly manner.

• TD BFP,MD BFP, Pump house, and all BOP’S auxiliary Drives line-up

• Thorough knowledge of interlock and protection system of boiler, steam turbine & all

the balance of plants.

• Operation of co-generation power plant including start up, shut down and handling of

emergency situations.

• Monitoring of parameters like oil pressure, oil levels, local gauge and bearing

temperatures of all above equipments of power plants.

• Monitoring and reporting the CST levels, boiler feed pumps, CST makeup pump and

its line up.

• Writing major activities / events performed during the shift in logbook, filling the area

log sheets as well as control room log sheets.

• Basic knowledge of power plant chemistry specifically boiler chemistry, DM water,

steam parameters and cooling water chemistry required for power plant.

• Chemical dosing system in power plant

• Passed PGDC in Thermal Power plant Engg. From NPTI Badarpur New Delhi.

• Passed B-TECH in Mechanical engg. From BBSBEC Fatehgarh sahib Punjab with

68.26%.
