Upon graduation from the Academy of Health Sciences at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX, I was stationed at Fort Stewart,
GA. My primary duties included assisting dental and medical clinicians in deployment of soldiers into “Desert Storm” at a “Class
V” status. This is the military standard of health for deployment into battle. Upon my honorable discharge from active duty in
1993, I was retained in the Army Reserve until 1999.
