EDUCATION

THE UNIVERSITY OF TULSA. Tulsa, OK AUG 2007 - DEC 2009

Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering

Project: Foam Breaking in Inlet Cyclones. (Sponsored by Chevron), GPA: 3.87/ 4.00

ISTANBUL TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY. Istanbul, Turkey SEP 2000 - JUNE 2005

Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering

Project: Quick Interpretation Techniques of Well Logs

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

MULTIPHASE SYSTEMS INTEGRATION, Tulsa, OK

Engineering & Technology Specialist, April 2010 - Present

• Project leader and adviser. Multiphase flow, flow assurance and production

engineering projects.

• Project: Modeling sand deposition and transport in horizontal wells and

pipelines.

Created a mathematical model to predict the time required for sand particles to reach

wellhead and implement it to Operator Company’s Wellbore Simulator.

Performed simulations to optimize critical production rates to avoid sand deposition and pipe

blockage in the wellbore.

Predictions of transient sand concentration at wellhead helped customer anticipate required

actions and procuring the right equipment for sand management.

• Project: Pipeline size selection and sand deposition analysis for a new gas

development field in The

Netherlands.

Managed project from project proposal to delivery of results.

Conducted simulations to determine the most suitable diameter for the gas pipeline and

assessed if topside equipment for the new field were required to avoid reduction in recovery

for the selected pipeline.

Created scenarios for dry gas and low liquid loaded wet gas production.

The cost of the pipeline was significantly reduced by optimizing pipe size selection.

• Project: Improving Deep Water Subsea Flow Measurements

Evaluated several commercial virtual flow meter over a range of conditions and validated

their predictions against reference data.

Simulations and analysis using Olga software.

• Project: Design a Churn Flow Coalescer to improve foam destabilization in

foamy oil wells.

Design, construction and testing. Obtained promising results for field of this device usage and

project was extended due to customer satisfaction

• Project: Jet drilling Operations of High Pressure High Temperature Wells

(HPHT) using WellFlo.

Performed simulations of jet drilling using supercritical fluids (N2, CO2) and assure desired

flow conditions in pipe and annulus based on phase envelopes.

Analyzed pressure and temperature profile in the wellbore to predict hydrate formation.

Optimized gas velocity profile in the annulus to avoid pipe erosion

Simulations to inject and produce water to analyze P&T profiles.

Nodal Analysis with Pipesim and Marlim (Petrobras software).

PROMET, Natural Gas Technologies Co., Istanbul, Turkey

Field Engineer, Jun 2005 – Jun 2007

• Design natural gas pipeline networks using GasWorks software.

Optimize required flow rates for gas systems while minimizing pipe length for each network.

• Supervising natural gas pipeline constructions, including t esting pipelines (pneumatic and hydraulic)

TURKISH PETROLEUM COMPANY, Adiyaman, Turkey

Intern Engineer, Jun 2004 -Aug 2004

• Training in production, completion and drilling service operations

TUPRAS PETROLEUM REFINERIES, Kirikkale, Turkey

Intern Engineer, Jun 2003 – Aug 2003

• Training in process and quality control laboratories.
