Executive Assistant Part Time

a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Recently, I obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Applied

Geography as well as certificates in Cartography and Geographic Information

Systems and Geographic Education from Montgomery College-Rockville,

Maryland.

After graduating from college, I worked as the Executive Assistant to

the Deputy Executive Director at a local non-profit organization for two

years doing a variety of administrative tasks. Following this position, I

decided to get an Early Childhood Education Certificate and worked at

several local childcare centers and private schools. After my childcare

experience, I did a variety of part time assignments to gauge my long-term

interest in the field. I then decided to return to school and pursue the

Associates of Applied Science Degree in Applied Geography.

In addition to my degrees and certificates, I hold advanced

certification in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, specifically

Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. I have a thorough knowledge of the

Internet, and I have moderate reading/ speaking skills with the Spanish

language. My experience includes numerous hours of community service with

non-profit organizations. I am a lifetime member of Gamma Theta Upsilon

(Theta Eta Chapter) the international honor society in geography, where I

served as GTU and Geography Club Liaison.

I made $25,000 a year during my tenure at Community Family Life

Services. I am flexible to whatever the starting salary is for this
