I have worked and done well in the food service industry for over 7 years. Although I started with a dishwasher position, I have been forced to develop my food preparation and culinary skills. During the transition when Wild Oats was bought by Whole Foods, I was made a shift supervisor. Although it was just a transient position, (there are only Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders at Whole Foods) someone was needed to be responsible as that time was a little chaotic.
