International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Geneva,

Switzerland Tsunami Recovery Program. As Water and Sanitation Delegate for Nias,

Indonesia. Responsible for the implementation of both hardware and software program

components of rural water supply systems and sanitation facilities of Mandrehe, Nias,

Indonesia. Conduct training to the staff to strengthen the hardware and software project

components to attain the goal of sustainable WATSAN facilities. The project was

implemented using the PHAST(Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation) method

and SPHERE standards.

February 2006 to February 2008

International Relief and Development(IRD).– Banda, Aceh, Indonesia As Water and

Sanitation Specialist for the Tsunami Recovery Program under UNICEF Programs. Prepares

assessment/feasibility study and detailed engineering design, operation and maintenance

manual, conducted training for both hardware and software project components and

construction management, quality control and assurance, part of the monitoring and

evaluation of various water supply systems and sanitation facilities in both urban and rural

areas in Aceh, Indonesia. Water supply project includes the river water source development,

transmission pipelines, pumping stations, water treatment plants, reservoir and distribution

networks. Likewise, the concept of environmental WTP/the wet land was considered in the

design of waste water disposal. Identifies new interventions, programs and prepares project

proposals for the different donors.

detailed design of Antipolo Water Supply Project of Manila Water Company, Philippines.

The project design covers the design of 9.6 km transmission pipelines of 1.35m, 1.2m,

and 1.0 m, steel pipe sizes, two (2) pumping stations of total 5 pumps at 830 KW each. to

cater to the 305 million liters per day water demand, and two concrete reservoirs at 20 and

17 million liters capacity.

Master plan for the Water and Sanitation Project in the ARMM Region,

Philippines, under JICA Programs. Responsible for the collection and evaluation of all

the data and preparation of the final study report .

LGU- Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project under the administration of the

Department of Interior and Local Government, World Bank Funded through the

Development Bank (DBP) of the Philippines. Responsible for the review and evaluation

of all the Feasibility Studies of the various LGUs availing loan assistance from World Bank

through DBP. The work includes the scaling down of design parameters of the system to suit

to the affordability of the people to pay for the water tariff. Designed of transmission and

water supply systems. Conduct site inspection during construction regarding any variation in

the design.

Small Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Project in the various towns in the

Philippines under the implementation of the Local Water Utilities Administration,

Analysed secondary and field data and came up with findings and recommendations

on the existing system, population and water demand projections, alternative analysis

using hydraulic network analysis and cost analysis. Prepared draft and final

feasibility study reports. The project is under DANIDA Programs.

Mananga Phase I Project, Metro Cebu Water District, as Civil/Quantity Engineer,

from 1994 to 1996. Responsible for the preparation of site grading and development

plans of the Maghaway Valley, surge reservoir, control house and pump houses. Prepares

sand and silt storage plan, pipe and road alignment. Verifies and reviews the coordinates.

Submits to the Resident Engineer for proper staking-out. Establishes road grades and

elevations. Responsible in the preparation of bid documents, verifies change orders for

inclusion to the addendum. Responsible for quantity take-off and establishes unit costs

analysis. The project is under DANIDA Programs.

Water Supply Study and Detailed Design of Rosaria Apartments, as Water Supply

Engineer, in 1994. The work included the preliminary design of water supply facilities

adequate to meet the water demand, evaluation of existing water supply facilities, hydraulic

network analyses of the proposed water system, preparation of reports, detailed engineering

plans, and project costs.

Water Resources and Water Supply System Study of the Philippines First Asylum

Camp (PFAC), as Water Supply Engineer, in 1993. The work included the preliminary

design of water supply facilities adequate to meet the water demand of the Vietnamese

refugees, evaluation of existing water supply facilities, hydraulic network analysis of the
